World of Warcraft: Legion to invade August 30th

For those of you who still play or got into playing Blizzards still-massive MMO World of Warcraft, you will be happy to hear that its latest expansion titled Legion will be available to play August 30th this year. Of course the game is available for Mac and PC, unlike a certain other shooter Blizzard is working on. *cough, cough.*

The main draw of the expansion is a new class, new areas to explore, and of course, to save the world from the Burning Legion.

Game Description:

The Tomb of Sargeras has been reopened, and the demons of the Burning Legion pour into our world. Their full, terrifying might is fixed on summoning the Dark Titan to Azeroth—and they’ve already located the key to his return.

With the Alliance and Horde devastated, only you can take up Warcraft’s most legendary artifacts, scour the ancient Broken Isles for relics of the Titans, and challenge the Legion before Azeroth’s last hope dies.

Steel yourself, champion. Extinction is imminent.

If you pre-order for $49.99 (or 69.99 for deluxe) you a few goodies. An instant level 100 character boost and early access to the new Demon Hunter class. As always, the deluxe version offers a bunch of mounts for WoW and the cross-game promotional items such as a mount in Heroes of the Storm and cosmetic wings for Diablo 3. Those are pretty cool, but I've always found the Starcraft II portraits they offer to be the weakest of the bunch.
