Continuing my tour of high-end headsets, I obtained the SteelSeries 800 (formerly known as the SteelSeries H Wireless) to review.

I have spent a lot of time on computers since I was five years old. Gaming, writing, and later, coding, kept me glued to a screen for many hours.

Corsair Vengeance K70

I am someone who spends an average of 6-8 hours a day on the computer, which means that, in addition to a solid gaming keyboard, (usually backlighting and some useful extra keys) I wanted an accessory that was smooth and enjoyable to type on. After all, I spend a lot of time writing as well.

Ear Force i60

Turtle Beach are well known for their console and PC gaming headsets, but on the Mac? Not so much. I had previously tried out their wired Ear Force Z60 headset, but was ultimately disappointed and returned it –the headband was too tight and the controls were clunky.

SteelSeries Apex Gaming Keyboard

There isn’t anything wrong with my current keyboard, I actually rather like it. My Logitech K750 fulfills all my typing and gaming needs, although I wish it had backlighting on the keys.
