Despite being an older game, Terraria is still worth talking about. Terraria is a fantastic 2D world building type game comparable to Minecraft (though distinctly different).
Don’t Starve is one of the most challenging survival games I have ever played. The aim of the game needs no real explanation; the title says it all “Don’t Starve.” Though you are going to starve...again...again and again.
There are few space travel games as in depth as Kerbal Space Program (KSP) and far fewer that will run happily on a Mac. Luckily for us space enthusiasts, KSP exists.
The name says it all, right? You, the last human, explore the post-apocalyptic marine landscape (seascape?) that is now Earth in your rocket/submarine. Just roll with that last part. The seascapes are unique and beautiful in all their pixel glory, and the art is paired with an excellent score.
The Starcraft II Campaign came to an end some months ago with the release of Legacy of the Void, the game’s official last chapter. The world was saved, Kerrigan and Raynor got their ending and all is well.
SUPERHOT is one of the most innovate first person shooters in years… Or at least that’s what the game told me to tell people after I beat it. So, how does SUPERHOT actually hold up?
It is time to save the world from aliens - again. “Wait a minute, didn’t I save the world in XCOM: Enemy Unknown?” Turns out none of us did, as XCOM 2 makes into canon the ending that humanity failed the final assault, and now the Aliens have taken over the planet.
